Isaiah 3:2b The judge and the prophet, the diviner and the elder.
In war it is the duty of the generals and the brave men to ward off enemies from the outside. The judge is useful within the walls. For Satan moves against us with wars from without and with rebellions within, but there are more dangers from within than from without. And rebellion is worse than every war. The prophet is mentioned in the proper order, for he assists the judge. But he is a prophet who undeniably has inspiration from God.
